Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Clerkhand ("the service"), operated by Seif Miehiar ("we", "us"). By connecting a QuickBooks Online company to Clerkhand, you agree to these terms.
1. What the service does
Clerkhand reads accounting data from QuickBooks Online companies that you authorize, in order to analyze how the books are kept and to categorize transactions. Where you have enabled it, Clerkhand may record categorizations in QuickBooks on your behalf. Transactions it cannot resolve are left for your review.
2. Not tax, legal or accounting advice
Clerkhand is a bookkeeping tool. It does not prepare tax returns and does not provide tax, legal, audit or accounting advice. We are not a CPA firm. Consult a qualified professional for those services.
3. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the accuracy of your books and for reviewing the work the service produces, including any items it flags for review. You confirm that you are authorized to connect each QuickBooks company you connect.
4. Access and disconnection
You authorize access through Intuit's sign-in. You may disconnect at any time from within QuickBooks Online or by contacting us. After disconnection we stop accessing your company and delete your data as described in our privacy policy.
5. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". Automated categorization can be wrong. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses arising from errors in categorization that you did not review. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid for the service in the three months before the claim.

QuickBooks and Intuit are trademarks of Intuit Inc. Clerkhand is an independent product and is not made, endorsed or supported by Intuit.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The effective date above shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
